Your role as an estimating lead:Lead and develop the Estimating Team and processes to deliver robust, competitive and considered estimates for new projects across our various and exciting market sectorsYour responsibilities as an Estimating Lead as Reds10: Input into the Reds10 Bid/No Bid Reviews. Develop a personnel resource tracker to identify capacity of team members and their workload. Identify key supply chain partners and consultants required to support project requirements and develop relationships for onward use. Attend Client Meetings or Site Visits to ascertain necessary information to inform the estimate. Work with the Reds10 Golden Thread delivery system and provide cost plan updates as a response to design development, submit reports, chair tender review meetings and present at adjudication meetings with board directors. Identification and tracking of Opportunities.Accountabilities: Custodianship of the Reds10 estimating systems and software and their ongoing improvement including the maximisation of our BIM tools and in-house design to automated costing. Ownership of the Pre-Construction Risk and Opportunity Registers Managing Estimating team resources and their time to ensure successful and timely delivery of Estimates to meet internal and external key dates. Developing Reds10 team members to reach their full potential.Key skills to succeed as a Estimating lead at Reds10:
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making
Strong understanding of construction contracts and delivery
Process driven with a focus on continuous improvement
