Job Title: Estimating Bid Manager
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000
Job Type: Permanent
The Role
Providing sales estimates and proposals to our established customer base.
Liaising and communicating with the commercial discipline and suppliers and contractors to achieve best material prices, quality and lead-time.
Being client facing; customer visits and some travel may be expected from time to time.
Coordinating and preparing all supporting documentation required in the tender bid.
The Company
Our client designs, manufactures and constructs structural steel projects including industrial buildings, aircraft hangars and their electro-mechanical doors, warehouses, grandstands, multi-storey buildings, car parks, bridges and defence equipment all across the UK!
The Candidate
Previous estimating & bidding experience in steel and/or cladding sectors is desirable.
Ability to undertake technical and financial calculations.
Technical ability to understand engineering drawings.
Commercial awareness.
