About the role

We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for an Estate Assistant to join our Estates team working 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, from 08:00am to 4:00pm), earning £25,095 per annum.

This is a full-time opportunity, working 35 hours per week to support our team providing high quality grounds services to schemes in Havant and the surrounding areas. There will be times when you will be expected to cover other areas when required, but company van will be used for travel when this is necessary. All PPE will be provided by Guinness.

Reporting into the Estates Services Officer you will be responsible for providing high quality garden services to our schemes. We are looking for someone who has good customer service skills as you will be interacting with our customers and colleagues, and you would be working both within a team and on your own. The work can sometimes be quite physically demanding.

Some of the key duties involved are:

* Bin store/ management

* Litter picking

* Grounds, maintenance, and gardening work

Experience of horticultural equipment such as ride on mowers, hedge cutters and strimmer's would be beneficial.

Schedule

* Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

* No weekend working.

Desirable

An understanding of how to use mobile working devices e.g., tablets

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ 2 or 3 in Horticulture or of RHS/City and Guilds/HND equivalent

PA1, PA4b and PA6 NPTC Certificates

Please note that a holding a full clean UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Interviews will take place at Langstone House; week commencing 3rd June 2024.
