A private, family-run business are seeking an Estate Manager to oversee a residential building in London.
Your new company Our client are a private-sector, family-run business operating in multiple countries. They are seeking an Estate Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, to oversee facilities and building management of a residential building comprised of 66 apartments in London.Your new role As Estate Manager, you will competently ensure that the residential development is managed in accordance with company procedures and policies, working in complete synergy with the client to ensure professionalism and compliance, whilst championing customer service excellence and whilst attaining the highest possible standards of maintenance and presentation achievable. Key duties will include:Managing in-house team and contractorsServices to manage include maintenance, security, cleaning, waste, concierge and moreBudget management inc. service charge budgetManaging 3rd party contractors (M&E, accountancy, HR, payroll etc.)Reporting to the board of the businessWhat you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role you will require relevant experience in facilities/estate/building management within a residential setting. You will also require:Experience managing both hard and soft services including all of the above listed provisionsBudget management skill and experienceService charge experiencePeople management of in-house team and 3rd party contractorsContractor management of service providersCustomer service and strong communication skills essentialWhat you'll get in return When successful in securing this role you will receive a permanent contract with a private, family-run organisation and the opportunity to work in an autonomous environment and take ownership of the property in a desirable location in London.
