Job DescriptionPiramal Pharma Solutions is a leading global CDMO of advanced drug development and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical industry. We are looking for ESH BP thats day to day support for specific identified business area, API chemical plant. Responsible for supporting incident reporting and promoting use of My Safe, defining training matrix with local area managers and supporting delivery where skills permit. Ensuring Tool-box talks are delivered within assigned area in a timely manner. Manage COSHH & risk assessment processes locally to ensure compliance and support training of competent risk assessors. Closing out actions and verifying closure (CAPA)Drive improvements locally through full engagement and implementation of local EHS committees.Support site cultural change program for EHS within business unit areas. Work closely with UK EHS SMEs to ensure local EHS procedures are aligned to Global CEHS and UK guidance.RoleSupport the departmental business function with advice and support working closely with the operational team in a specific department.Conducting ongoing reviews of operations and processes to identify possible hazards, risks, and control measuresInvolvement in Process safety assessments, HAZID and HAZOPS.Closure and verification of corrective actionsDevelop and Deliver toolbox talksDevelop and deliver site level trainingTracking and reporting on EHS metricsActively engage with subject matter experts to develop, write and deliver locally aligned policy and procedureDrive EHS improvements locally through full engagement with the operational teams and involvement with EHS reps.Maintaining an overview of the overall risk assessment framework (General workplace, Manual handling, COSHH, DSEAR, fire risk assessments, etc.) and helping / coaching operational departments to ensure risk assessments are suitable and sufficient.Leading and participation in accident, incident, near-miss investigation, and monitoring CAPA status and closure and manage My Safe across allocated area Carrying out workplace inspections across allocated area and contribute to the operational excellence program with respect to EHS integration and behavioral based safety thereby supporting site cultural change program for EHS within business unit areas.Auditing of risk management systems for compliance with current and emerging health and safety legislation.
