This is an exciting opportunity for an ER Specialist or HR Advisor to join the HR team of a well established service business. You will be responsible for handling employee relations matters, promoting a positive workplace culture, and providing expert advice on HR policies and procedures.

Description

The interim ER Specialist will work closely with management teams to:

  • Handle employee relations matters and provide expert advice on HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide commercial and common sense advice.
  • Assist in performance and capability management.
  • Work to reduce sickness absence across the business.
  • Oversee and manage performance appraisal system.
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Profile

The successful ER Specialist should have:

  • Proven experience of managing ER issues in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong employment law knowledge.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Ability to provide commercial HR Advice.
  • Experience of managing long term sickness cases.
  • Able to start a new role on short notice.
