Equity Research Analyst, UK

A global asset management firm is looking to hire an Equity Research Analyst to join one of the flagship global equity investment teams.The purpose of this role is to conduct detailed equity analysis of UK stocks for global and UK strategies.Role Description:Perform detailed fundamental equity analysis and provide investment recommendationsIdentify strong bottom-up investment ideas and produce research notes highlighting competitive advantages, industry dynamics and return driversBuild and maintain financial modelsMonitor existing positionsMaintain and develop knowledge of various sectorsRegularly meet and interact with company managementIdeal profile:4-8 years’ experience as an equity analyst on the buy-side or sell-sideCFA Charterholder or working towards the qualificationStrong modelling, valuation and analytical skillsExcellent academic backgroundAbility to make sound investment decisions based on numerical and analytical skillsInterested in long only equity investingHard working and highly motivatedTeam playerMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
