Equity Analyst, Global Industrials

Our client, a leading global Asset Manager is seeking an Equity Analyst to cover the Global Industrials sector. The main purpose of the role is to generate and present investment ideas to Portfolio Managers and maintain coverage of Global Industrials companies.Responsibilities:Present investment ideas and recommendations to Portfolio ManagersDeveloping and maintaining a thorough understanding of the sector and the companies within in on an operational and financial levelLead meetings with management, including site visits and ESG engagementsBuilding financial models, analysing financial performance, returns on capital and valuation.Building screening tools that identify companies that might deserve further analysisContributing to wider investment debate, updating investment team on recent events or results in the sectorAssist in marketing related activities to external clientsCandidate profile:Relevant experience as an Equity Analyst on the buy-side or sell-sideDirect knowledge of the Industrials sector, and companies within the sectorExcellent academic backgroundLikely studying towards or have completed CFA programmeSelf-motivated, competitive and/or entrepreneurial with a genuine interest in investingTeam player who enjoys working in a collaborative environmentMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
