We are currently seeking a
Equipment Coordinator to join our reputable client at their offices near East Grinstead.
Please note this is a fully office-based role & own transport is essential due to location.
The Role:
- Provide exceptional customer service, proactively addressing customer needs and demonstrating strong industry knowledge.
- Efficiently handle all requests/off-hire for plant, tools, and vehicles throughout the entire hire cycle.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers to address queries effectively and identify opportunities to increase sales.
- Effectively manage cross-hire and re-hire, working closely with our supply chain to ensure optimal value and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment maintenance and repairs are promptly addressed, maintaining high asset functionality and utilization rates.
- Conduct periodic stock takes for equipment and consumables, and assist in managing the purchase of new stock.
- Coordinate collection and delivery schedules.
- Support the Hire Manager with additional duties as required.
- Work closely with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets, actively participating in meetings and providing suggestions for improvement..
The Person:
- Proactive and confident communicator via phone & email
- Strong self-organisation is key as well as previous experience coordinating equipment/workforce to project deadlines
- Proficient user of IT Packages including MS Word/Excel & use of inhouse CRMs
- Flexible and "get-stuck-in" work approach, willing to assist where needed to ensure smooth operations.
The Package:
- Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (1hour lunch)
- �26,000 - �30,000pa DOE
