Equine / Farm Veterinary Surgeon - CambridgeshireSalary up to £60,000 DOEFull-Time (Part-Time considered)£1,250 CPD allowance with 40 hours paid pro-rata In-house learning and development opportunitiesAn exciting new role has arisen for a Farm and Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join an excellent purpose-built practice based in Cambridgeshire. They have an interesting and varied equine and farm animal caseload with expertise in orthopaedics, reproduction, medicine and surgery, with scope for the successful candidate to excel in areas of interest.Currently, they have 9 Veterinary Surgeons with 2 of those being certificate holders. They also have 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 5 Support Staff. You will be working alongside a lovely team of supporting staff to maintain delivering excellent standards of care. The practice thrives to support one another to develop themselves whilst having fun!They pride themselves on their flexible approach, which enables all of their colleagues to enjoy a good work/life balance. They offer flexible working patterns for both full-time and part-time colleagues. A full-time position will include working 40 hours per week over 4 days between Monday and Friday, with OOHs/on-call of 1 night per week and 1 in 4 weekends. The practice likes to make sure that their colleagues are still able to maintain that work-life balance as well as enabling their vets to pursue other interests.They have a smart purpose-built practice with hospitalisation and surgical facilities for equines and farm animals, and they have all the usual toys and are keen on investing in new equipment, technologies and ideas. All Vets have iPhones and iPads for communication with staff and clients.The practice is located on the edge of the beautiful city of Ely, provided with easy transport links to Cambridge and London. This position is perfect for a candidate that would need to use public transport to get to work.
