Role Purpose
Working within our awesome Finance team, the purpose of the role is to provide robust administrative and analytical support for ePOS till system updates and queries.
Accountabilities
New MP site rules and liaise with nGen (ePOS supplier) to ensure the product range is loaded correctly
Price changes, product additions and removals
CBCB (Can-buy, can’t-buy) rules to ensure the agreed product range is available to MP Pubs
Vision view (EPOS portal) reports on request to support business analysis
New product requests in a timely manner to support the Publican in their drive for additional sales
Closely with the IT team to assist in the maintenance of our online order and pay application to ensure an epic consumer experience
Confidently liaise and build a great relationship with nGen (ePOS Supplier) to ensure MP promotions and pricing are accurate to the trading style template – in addition, maintain the stock report to ensure a smooth stocktake audit
The business with general ad hoc MP queries – take ownership
Periodic MP sales data to the field-based team
Build and maintain strong professional relationships throughout the business through delivering exceptional customer service to all
A proactive approach to your own personal development and take ownership of working on any development areas
Weekly MP sales reports – supporting the Marketing and Food teams
Support to the Head of Drink and Marketing Co-ordinator, to assist with promotions and adjustments to the range-tool
Co-operatively with team members and colleagues, contributing positively and constructively to the achievement of team and company goals
General administrative duties as required, in support to the wider team

Person Specification – Technical Competencies/Professional expertise
Able to work on own initiative but also to be flexible in supporting the team
To plan and organise effectively in order to meet tight deadlines
To communicate clearly and concisely on the telephone and in writing
To build rapport and develop key relationships
To work in a team by demonstrating flexibility, a positive can-do attitude
To work in a fast paced and changeable environment
A commercial awareness in day to day operations
Approach to individual training, development and progression
Attention to detail – quality is key
Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel and a competent user of Microsoft Word and Outlook is highly desirable
Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Active interest in Finance or previous financial administrative experience is desirable but not essential of using ePOS till system is highly desirable but not essential
