Environmental Manager

Our client are a multi-national civil and infrastructure group looking for a Environmental Manager based in Birmingham, Curzon Street HS2 Project.
Role:
The successful candidate will be accountable for implementing and ensuring environmental awareness across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in producing, maintaining and ensuring compliance of the Environmental Management Plans
Identify possible operational risks or opportunities and work with central HSQE team
Site supervision to monitor and record environmental performance and compliance undertaking regular site inspections and audits of construction sites
Monitor and report environmental performance and KPIs
Carry out or contribute to incidents and complaints investigations
Essential Requirements:
Educated to degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline
Professional membership of an appropriate environmental body
Strong working knowledge of developing, implementing and improving Environmental Management Systems
Knowledge of relevant UK Environment legislation and current best practise guidance
Desirable:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
