Job Title: Health, Safety, and Environmental Technician (COMAH Experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Technician with expertise in COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) regulations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our HSE standards to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety across our operations.
Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain HSE management systems in accordance with COMAH regulations and industry best practices.
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
Liaise with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and stakeholders on HSE matters.
Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions control, and pollution prevention initiatives.
Stay abreast of HSE legislation, standards, and technological advancements to continuously improve practices.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HSE roles within the chemical manufacturing industry.
Expertise in COMAH regulations and their practical application.
Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and incident investigation techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, environment.
