Rate - Negotiable Per/Hour (role may be Outside of IR35)
I am working on behalf of a Local Authority client in Scotland who are seeking a qualified Environmental Health Officer to join their Food and Health & Safety team for a 6 month rolling period due to a number of staff vacancies within the service.
The role will be hybrid so will be 2-3 days per/week on district and the rest of the week can be done remotely for paperwork purposes.
The role will be planned Food Hygiene inspection work as well as some reactive complaints work.
To be shortlisted you will need to be:
- Qualified within Environmental Health under either EHORB/EHRB/REHIS/The Royal Environmental Health Institute Of Scotland.
- You will need recent local authority experience working across Food Safety or Food Hygiene inspection work.
- You will ideally have had local authority experience in a Scottish local authoirty.
- Be qualified against The Official Controls Verification to be able to conduct higher risk/approved premises inspections and visits.
