We are seeking an Environmental Advisor to join a large multi-national contractor. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our construction projects adhere to environmental regulations and best practices. They will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate environmental considerations into every stage of the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise project teams on environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct environmental assessments and surveys to identify potential risks and impacts.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans for construction projects.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental permits and approvals.
  • Provide training and support to project staff on environmental issues.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and community members to address environmental concerns.
  • Participate in environmental audits and inspections.
  • Identify opportunities for improving environmental performance and reducing waste.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of [3] years of experience in environmental management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in environmental management (e.g., NEBOSH Environmental Certificate) is desirable.
