We work across various industries globally and are actively looking for proficient Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Professionals to join our team across the UK & Europe including Warsaw in Poland, Berlin & Frankfurt in Germany, London & the wider UK, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and Madrid in Spain. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing compliance with local and international regulations, implementing robust health and safety measures, and fostering a safety-centric culture within our organization. The successful candidates will receive direct support from and report to the Regional EHS Manager of ASafe Global.
Your Role:
Maintain HSE programs and records/documentation.
Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Provide recommendations for workplace hazards.
Offer advice and training programs, collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ensure enhanced HSE awareness and procedures.
Lead accident investigations, root cause identification & preventive action plans.
Track HSE performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, corrective actions, and documentation.
Conduct regular inspections of emergency response plans and drills for evaluation of effectiveness.
Participate in HSE committees and regulatory engagement.
What you'll need to succeed:
Must be located in the job location or willing to relocate without assistance.
Strong construction background emphasizing HSE expertise.
Degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
5+ years of main contractor experience preferred in advanced technology construction in industries like data centers, pharma, high-end manufacturing, and oil & gas.
Understanding of local, state, and federal HSE regulations and proven track record in developing and implementing HSE programs, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication skills, people management abilities, and proficiency in conducting thorough incident investigations.
Certified Safety Professional, ISO, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
