Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 plus package

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our client's team in Chase Side. As a Health and Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our workforce across a range of prestigious projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to take the next step in their career, with scope to progress to Senior Health and Safety Manager within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks, implementing appropriate control measures.
Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on health and safety matters, promoting a culture of safety excellence.
Lead the investigation of accidents and incidents, producing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
Mentor and support junior members of the health and safety team, fostering their professional development.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 6, degree, or diploma in Health and Safety (or equivalent).
Proven experience in a health and safety management role within the construction or related industry, with a focus on data centers and large industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification (desirable).
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
