Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Blyth, Northumberland�

Company: AK Teaching�

Hours: 08:30-16:00 Full time (Term time only)

Key Responsibilites:

• Provide individuals support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering their academic and personal growth.


• Assist in the implementation of tailored educational plans and strategies, ensuring each students unique requirements are met.


• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and other suppoprt staff to create inclusive learning environments that promote student engagement and success.


• Support students in developing essential literacy, numeracy and social skills through targeted interventions and activities.


• Adapt learning materials and resources to accomodate students' varying abilities and learning styles.


• Encourage positive behaviour and reinforce classroom expectations, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.


• ,Maintain accurate records of students progress and communicate effectively with teachers, parents and other stakeholders.�

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, particularly in educational setting, is desireable.�


• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues and families.


• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.


• Flexibility and adaptibility to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.


• Relevant qualifications of training in education, child care or related fields are advantageous but not essential.
