We are currenrly recruiting Learning Support Asisstants and Teaching Assistants within the Bedlington area to support pupils in Primary Schools. We are welcoming individulas of all backgrounds however some experience is desireable.�



Job Title: Learning Support Assistant�



Location: Bedlington, Northumberland�



Company: AK Teaching�



Hours: 08:30-16:00 Full Time (Term Time)





Key Responsibilites:




  • Provide 121 or small group support for students, some of these students may be diagnosed with Special Educational Needs (SEND).

  • Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individual educational plans and behaviour managament strategies/

  • Support students with their learning activities, including literacy, numeracy and social skill development.

  • Encourage student engagement and participation in classroom activities.

  • Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning resources to meet the needs of individual students.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.





Requirements:




  • Happy to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate, we also accept third party DBS's if they are already on the Update Service.

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.

  • Understanding of SEN and the ability to support students with a range of learning needs.

  • strong communication and interpersonal skils.

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.

  • relevant quaifications such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are desireable but not essential/
