video and if it ignites your interest, apply below.The RoleThe role presents and exciting opportunity to provide service ownership / product management of an internal database solution which provides valuable data to the wider business users at DCC. The role is vital in delivering a high-quality support service to the DCC and provides operational support across various IT activities along with the ongoing development of the platform.Role PurposeThis role initially reports to the Smart DCC Enterprise IT DirectorThe One Data Hub is a centralised database platform which has been in development internally and with 3 rd
parties over the last 6 months and is an SQL database that ingests data from numerous business system and provides BI using Power BI to various teams in DCC to enable accurate and timely decision making for the business.As we move away from developing One Data as part of a project and move it into production, we need to treat it as a live service including managing its development pipeline; ensuring correct release management, and working with internal and external suppliers to ensure it continues to support our requirement for accurate business reporting. What you'll be doingService review management, planning, preparation, reporting, risk management, issue escalation and resolution, and platform ownershipHost and attend face to face service review meetings with internal customers, development, and support teamsWork closely with the partners to ensure security, stability and resilience of the platform is in place to provide maximum confidence in the solutionManage the pipeline of activities:identifying and managing priorities for both continued development of the existing platform and expansion beyond the current requirementsensure the correct level of requirements is documented to ensure quality delivery and supportensuring the change management processes is adhered toMaintain and develop customer relationships and identify opportunitiesIdentify initial high-level requirements, working with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure that development aligns with application, integration, and data strategiesManage the performance of the 3 rd
party teams to ensure DCC is getting the level of expertise and skills required to develop and support the platformWork alongside project management team to support successful onboarding of products and services.Full ownership of customer issues & escalationsResponsible for all BAU service activityFacilitate data or security audits on the platform, and manage any audit findingsReport on workload and prioritisation to the Enterprise IT Director to feed into resource planningWhat we're looking for Key Skills and Experience:3+ years of Service or Product Management experience preferably within a technical environmentAs this is a Database product you should be able to demonstrate an understanding of logical data modelsGood documentation skills required across all levelsFormal service management training and certification preferred (ITIL V4 Foundation as minimum)Standout colleague with good communication skills and be customer oriented, aiming at effective collaboration with internal and external partnersDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other team members inside and outside of the organisationWhat's in it for you?Become part of our team at DCC and you’ll find an inclusive culture which prizes mutual respect, innovation and high performance.
