At Pax8 we are looking for a visionary leader with a passion for designing scalable enterprise architectures. As our Enterprise Architect at Pax8, you will play a key role in aligning platform and system owners with modern technical change patterns and maintaining high standards for architectural diagrams. As our Enterprise Architect you will guide engineers in designing scalable solutions and administer governance to ensure compliance with standards, security, and regulatory requirements, while establishing risk assessment practices.

Your day to day role as an Enterprise Architect includes:
Collaboration: Support alignment between platform and system owners supporting modern patterns for technical change through delivery teams
Documentation: Draft, review, and approve Request for Changes (RFCs) and Architectural Decision Records (ADRs). Establish a high-quality standard for architectural diagrams, providing guidance, review and support.
Solution Design: Provide expert guidance and oversight to engineers and admins in designing and reviewing complex, scalable, and innovative technology solutions that align with business goals.
Governance: Establish and enforce architecture governance processes, ensuring compliance with architectural standards, data and security requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Establish risk and impact assessment practices
Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to make informed recommendations and decisions regarding technology adoption.
Drive your own personal development and performance improvements by participating in learning paths on Elev8, taking part in Pax8 L&D programs, receiving peer or manager coaching, taking on stretch projects or on the job training

Requirements:
You'll be the ideal Enterprise Architect for us if you have:
Substantial experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and technical leadership roles
Strong documentation skills with a passion for clear communication and team alignment
In-depth knowledge of architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies
Excellent understanding of cloud technologies, microservices, APIs, and modern architecture patterns
Expertise in industry standard security and compliance requirements (SOC II, ISO, etc.)
Experience with project management tooling (e.g. Confluence, Jira) and methodologies (agile, kanban)
Experience using engineering tools; python, PowerShell, SQL, jupyter, awscli, GitHub, RESTful APIs, MS graphAPI
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at various levels
Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology strategies with business goals
Previous experience in the technology industry or SaaS/cloud solutions is highly desirable

Salary & benefits for our Enterprise Architect:
Basic salary: £61,000 - £76,000 per year
