Ageas currently have an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Architect to join our business. The Enterprise Architect is accountable for identifying and driving new architectural initiatives in order to contribute to the successful delivery of:1.The Architecture Framework (which determines the way architecture functions) to ensure architecture stays relevant and adds value to the organisation.2.The IT Blueprint which outlines to Ageas what IT needs to provide in order to support the delivery of the overall strategy.The Enterprise Architect, using internal and external trends, provides the organisation with opportunities to deliver the business strategy; influences the change portfolio to focus on the realisation of business value by delivering strategy; acts as a catalyst for business transformation; ensures the framework and governance stays current and fit for purpose.Enterprise Architecture covers the following specialisms: security, application (systems), information (data), technology (infrastructure) and governance. Main Responsibilities as Enterprise Architect: Work alongside senior Business and IT leaders on the IT Blueprint that enables delivery of the overall Strategy.
Responsible for identifying and driving architectural initiatives to deliver real business value.
Communicate the value and role of architecture across the organisation.
Act as an ambassador for Ageas across Group, with our internal and external partners and through attendance at external events.
Working within the governance framework to ensure that architecture has the right controls in place and taking responsibility for day-to-day assurance. Skills and experience you need as Enterprise Architect An extensive history and knowledge of working in Enterprise and Solution Architecture is essential.
An up-to-date knowledge of architectural standards eg TOGAF.
Ability to keep up to date with technology trends and innovations to enable Ageas to leverage any opportunities.
Ability to act as an expert in all relevant discussions both internally and externally.
Possesses a distinctive blend of business acumen and IT knowledge.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, which are essential for interacting with senior stakeholders at all levels across the business.
Expertise in setting and managing stakeholder expectations; be a trusted advisor.
Demonstrates personal commitment to change through actions and words.
Shows the ability to: Strategic Thinking - Road-mapping & Planning, Big Picture Thinking, Strategic Planning, Visual Thinking, Parallel Processing
