Role Profile:

The University of Salford is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team for a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and implementing the university's enterprise architecture strategy to support its digital transformation initiatives. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and maintain architectural standards, frameworks, and roadmaps that align with the university's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architectural solutions with business objectives.
• Design and evaluate complex architectural solutions, ensuring compliance and risk management.
• Communicate architectural concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and training on enterprise architecture principles and practices.
• Leading the implementation of a new architecture tool.

Experience:

• Experience implementing new architecture tools.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
