A supportive and inclusive Secondary School based in the Borough of Redbridge are seeking an English Teaching Assistant to join their exceptional support and teaching team. This English Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with the English Department and providing support to students through KS3, KS4 and KS5.

As an English Teaching Assistant, you have the opportunity to gain Teacher Training and will gain valuable school-based experience that will be a great asset to your teaching career. You will gain a fantastic understanding of the school curriculum and different teaching methods. This position will also involve working with young people with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.

• �95 - �110 a day
• Monday - Friday only
• Term-Time role

The Ideal English Teaching Assistant

• A graduate with strong academics such as a 1st Class or 2:1
• The desire to become a teacher with a focus on English
• A passion for learning and making a positive difference to young people
• Previous experience in a school/working with children
• A good understanding of SEND/SEMH needs
