Connex Education is working with a Secondary School in County Durham who are recruiting for a English Teacher to work full- time.

About the school

The school is based in Middlesbrough and is part of a large multi academy trust . They are looking for a English Teacher who is hard working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils education.

Assignment Details

This role will commence asap and will last for the remainder of the academic year with the potential for this to be extended into September.

Person Specification

• Have experience teaching English to KS3 & KS4 level, with demonstrable impact on pupil progress
• Hold QTS or PGCE certification with subject specialism in English.
• Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Promote English in a positive way to engage and motivate students
• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
