Job Title: English Teacher

Secondary School are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join a warm and compassionate environment where every staff member makes a significant contribution to the experience of our students.Job Duties:
Teach students within allocated classes, enhancing their learning and providing the opportunity for achievement for all studentsPlanning and preparing tasks which challenge students and ensure high levels of interest during lessonsMonitor the academic progress of students within allocated classes and implement appropriate strategies to address underachievementAssess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of all students within allocated classes
Required Qualifications:
PGCEQTS
Education:
A degree in English or related fieldExperience:
Prior experience teaching English in a secondary school settingKnowledge and Skills:
Strong classroom management skillsEffective behaviour management strategiesAbility to foster creativity and engagement in the classroom
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in Special Education or EALWorking Conditions:
This role involves working in a secondary school environment, typically during school hours. The teacher will be expected to participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related activities as required.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
