English degree, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
We are currently seeking an English Teacher for a secondary school located in Rayleigh, Essex. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to secondary school students to at least GCSE standard.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to studentsAssess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedbackCreate a positive and inclusive learning environmentManage classroom behaviour to ensure a conducive learning atmosphereCollaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategiesParticipate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activitiesMaintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
English degree preferredQualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong knowledge of the English language and literatureAbility to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessonsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in behaviour management techniques

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
