Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a busy secondary school in the recruitment of an English Teacher.
We are currently seeking an English Teacher, available to join the school from April 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a teaching position, including marking and planning. This role is ideal for experienced Class Teachers and Early Career Teachers alike, both are encouraged to apply.
This is bustling secondary setting in the Bolton area. The school is within proximity to Horwich, Middlebrook and Adlington. The expected salary range is between £140-190 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Both experienced English Teachers and Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Confident in delivering the UK national curriculum in English across KS3 to GCSE level
- Strong differentiation skills to ensure all pupils access lesson content at their own level.
