Vision for Education are recruiting for an English teacher for a maternity cover in Preston starting May 2024.

Vision for Education is currently recruiting an English Teacher for an excellent academy in Preston.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS and will be a subject specialist in English. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an NQT looking to professionally develop your skills – this role would be suitable for you.

This role is a maternity cover starting May 2024 and will run till February 2025

The school is situated on the outskirts of Preston and prides itself on high level teaching and therefore looking for a teacher that demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The successful English Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.

To be considered for the role of English Teacher you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE and or A level.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Subject specialists.
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
