English Teacher or Specialist

An English Teacher or Specialist is required for a Secondary school in the Durham area. You will deliver English sessions lessons to KS3 and KS4. This is an ongoing position starting asap and will potentially run until the end of the academic year in July 2024.

The ideal English Teacher or Specialist candidate will be an English teacher with QTS.

The school is single sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal English Teacher or Specialist candidate would:

• Have good classroom management skills


• Have a passion for teaching English to KS3 and  KS4 


• Have good classroom management skills


• Have a passion teaching English


• Have excellent subject knowledge


• Be able to organise themselves

We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers or ECTs.
