As teacher of English, you will have the opportunity to inspire our pupils as they study texts and develop their comprehension and creative writing skills. There is some flexibility to shape the workload to the skills and experience of the successful candidate, but the job will involve teaching Year 9-11, with the scope to add in Year 7 & 8 if availability permits. We follow the AQA course for both Language & Literature and RS. A scheme of work is in place, and you will have the opportunity to shape the English curriculum as you grow into the role, ensuring that our pupils continue to have a broad and dynamic learning experience.
