Engineering Team LeaderPerm, £30k pa (£15.38p/hr), Day Shift, Mon-Fri, 37.5hrs per weekSHEFFIELDI am looking for an experienced Lathe Operator/Manual Machinist to run a small team of 3-4, working at a busy Manufacturing company based near to Sheffield, on the Day shift.Working under the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day Production within your work cell, communicating company goals, safety practices, disciplinary procedures, and deadlines to the team. This is a hands-on role where you will be required to work within the Production Team itself. Day to Day tasks will include:-Ensuring quality of work is maintained-Ensuring team members are suitably trained-Adherence to set procedures and work instructions-Maintenance of equipment-Co-ordination of daily work activities and requirements-Health & Safety awareness within the cell-Any ad-hoc duties as requiredTo be successful in this role you must have previous Lathe or Manual Machine experience or come from a Manufacturing/Engineering background. Other Key skills required for the role include:-3+ years Temperature Measurement / Instrumentation industry experience is essential-5+ years Team Leadership Experience in a previous engineering/production role-Good attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks well-The ability to work as part of a team-Willingness to continue training and development of personal performance-Able to work under pressure.-Knowledge/understanding of ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 17025: 2005 would be beneficial-Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills-Must be a good motivatorYou will be required to work 37.5hrs per week on the Day shift, which will include a half day on a Friday.
