Engineering Team Leader

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading company in their search for an Engineering Team Leader to work in their leading facility in Droitwich.
For the successful Engineering Team Leader our client is offering:

• Up to £55,000 per annum (DOE) 
• 4 on 4 off day shifts, 7 am - 7 pm 
• Permanent position
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays 
• Annual bonus of up to 10% 
• Benefits package including life assurance and health care cover
• Pension matched up to 8% 

The Role - Engineering Team Leader:

• People management including delivery of performance reviews, development and coaching of the team
• Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives and knows how current performance impacts the bottom line
• Motivation of engineering team through effective leadership and coaching and development
• Control of contractors & maintenance suppliers through performance reviews
• Support Maintenance Excellence roadmap implementation plan for site
• Adherence to planned maintenance schedules through effective resource planning
• Adequate plant cover, as required, through effective resource planning
• Undertake analysis of CMMS data to assist forward planning, opportunity for equipment improvement
• Fully support end-to-end PMS
• Review maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve cost effectiveness

What our client is looking for in an Engineering Team Leader:

• Recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL 
• Experience of managing an on-site team within the FMCG environment - ESSENTIAL 
• Experience in working with process equipment, P&ID's
• Must be an effective communicator with strong people skills 
• Must be happy to work in a cold environment
