Engineering Team Lead

FINTEC recruit is recruiting for an
Engineering Team Lead
for our growing engineering/marine client based in Aberdeen. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday (early finish on Fridays), salary negotiable by experience plus benefits pension, healthcare & private medical cover. You will be involved in the complete engineering lifecycle from design development through to delivery of the product. You will be a natural problem solver, and adaptable to meet client needs and focused to produce results. There will be some local and overseas travel involved in the role on occasions. Familiar with working to marine/defence standards and Classification Society rules is desirable
Responsibilities :
To manage and lead an engineering team, providing technical leadership and engineering design input
Work in line with regulatory compliance requirements and accountable for the technical approvals.
Maintain technical files and product designs in line with company standards & regulations
Manage system safety reviews and the safe design, validation and certification of our products, technical risk registers and create mitigation plans and ensuring team complies with company safety policys.
Liaison with other internal departments eg. Sales, supply chain, HSEQ, production
