Engineering Team Lead

Having taken on our first funding in ten years in Summer last year, we have started to grow our engineering function, and are now looking for a driven & passionate engineer to come in and lead the team forward. Our team is small enough that you will still be expected to get involved in coding activities, but you'll be in a position to set the direction of travel and drive change. You'll also ensure the team are delivering, and guide them where necessary.
Reporting in to our c-suite team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered to a high standard and on time, as well as working with your team to introduce new ideas. To date, we have utilized PHP through Laravel for the backend, and whilst legacy systems are mostly using Vue.js / Node.js for the frontend, we are transitioning to utilizing more Typescript. The right candidate will be familiar enough with these code bases to work alongside and assist current engineers, and be happy to get involved in other areas where required.
