You will be joining a team of talented Data Engineers and QA (Quality Assurance) engineers from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about what they do.You will be responsible for driving the team's deliveries as well as improving the team's agile processes, collaborating with the Engineering Managers, Product Owners, stakeholders, and other teams.
You will have technicalexperience indeliveringscalable, high-performant data products.
Being experienced in Agile development, you enjoy responsibility and care as much about engineering teams agile process as developing software. Communication, coordination, and team spirit are key components in getting things done.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the team's delivery to production, ensuringtechnical details are analyzed, coordinating across teams and backlogs
Maintain a comprehensive overview of all the technical deliveries the team is working on
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each delivery
Take part in the full software development lifecycle , with an element of being hands-on.
Incidents areproperly prioritized and addressed within the team
Support in managing each project's scope and timeline
Lead the team in using Agile methodologies and coordinate ceremonies
Support team in removing impediments and blockers
Perform backlog refinement and workload forecast withthe team and Product Owner
Continuously improve team performance and processes
Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration across teams
Align ways of working with otherEngineering Team Leads
Work closely with Product Owner and Engineering Manager to maximize team efficiency
Be the point of contact for communications with business stakeholders
About you
Prior experience on leading a team
Effective communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
You are familiar with general data warehousing concepts and building ETL/ELT pipelines
Experience working with Oracle, PL/SQL, Qlik Sense, Oracle Apex
Nice to have experience in other tech stacks like Redshift, Quicksight, Kafka, KSQL
Experience with software development lifecycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Good in multitasking and time management.
Innovative, Pro-active, and able to drive initiatives
Working experience using agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
