Our client is a well known groundworks contractor for providing industry-leading civil engineering solutions to regional and national house builders and developers, a forward-thinking business who undertake contracts ranging from �1M to �10M focussed on the residential and major infrastructure sectors. The company are looking for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join their successful and growing Technical Team.

Role and Responsibilities

Working within the housing sector to ensure delivery of timely earthworks schemes, you will report to an Engineering Manager and be responsible for the following:

  • Liaising with multiple teams and managing multiple tasks simultaneously to allow for streamlined construction without delays.
  • Managing a multitude of GPS controlled plant
  • Troubleshooting both system and hardware issues
  • Carrying out on site control installation
  • Ensuring site engineering teams have correct data
  • Setting up GPS to ensure accuracy and continuity from model creation to implementation
  • Processing drone surveys
  • Adoption surveys for roads and sewers along with final as-builts for client submission
  • Provide supervision and training to a Trainee Surveyor

Experience Required

  • Civil engineering qualification or experience in civil engineering field.
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years experience
  • Familiar with machine control Leica, Trimble (must have)
  • Experience with processing as built surveys.
  • Experience with housing plot works & bulk earthworks
  • Drone license (preferred not essential) training can be provided
  • Engineering Surveyor who wants to progress to a Senior Engineering Surveyor in the near future
