Duties/ Responsibilities
SAP MRP system monitoring levels and adjusting to history profile. To advise the Section Leader/ Assistant Section Leader of stock discrepancies and shortages, maintaining stock at agreed levels.
To determine proper floor and shelf locations for supplies.
Take receipt of goods and undertake necessary checks on such and associated documentation, reference quality, quantity and condition as received.
To control and issue inventory, as well as process and maintain inventory records and perform related work.
To control, issue and return powered tools stock.
To maintain a professional, polite and courteous manner whilst dealing with internal and external customers.
To promote a high level of quality and safety within the department. To ensure working practices are adhered to and good housekeeping procedures are maintained.
To despatch and control equipment for repair, providing all documentation relevant to destination, the control and recording of all information for traceability and cost control. Provide customs and procedural documentation to be able to ship goods outside of the United kingdom.
Manage and arrange despatch of goods during breakdown situations.
To deal with general/specific queries and projects from all internal customers.
