Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now need for an Engineering Shift Manager�to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Engineering Shift Manager�who wants to work in a diverse role�where no two days are the same.
As the�Engineering Shift Manager�you will�provide the delivery of both planned and�reactive FM maintenance services on a prominent site in West London.
The role comes with a�continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern, alternating both�days and nights.�
The�Engineering Shift Manager,�will be responsible for:
- Conducting yourself in a professional manner in support of our customer and work colleagues.
- 50/50 workload split, both on the tools and off the tools.
- Act as a point of contact for the Engineering Team and will plan and manage workload on shift;
- Scheduling works based on priorities to ensure completion of PPM's / CM's and reactive work orders within defined SLA's
- Highlight any concerns to Engineering Supervisor.
- Ensuring�a high degree of communication at shift handover via verbal communication and documentation
- Ensuring�all works are delivered on time and to the agreed specification.
- Train the shift teams as required including delivering Toolbox talks and team briefings as well as Management of sub-contractors working on site, including permits, review of RAMs and isolations where required.
- You will also be responsible for completing reports and paperwork as instructed by the Engineering Manager
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, specific company requirements approved by the Health & Safety Executive and the latest regulations and codes of good practice.
To be successful for this Engineering Shift Manager�role you must have:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in relevant engineering maintenance field (or equivalent other qualification recognised by CITB/EITB/JIB).
- BS7671 Electrical Regulations
- IOSH Managing safely or similar.
- Someone who can undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract
- Someone who has excellent customer care / relationship building skills and is able to work as a member of a team and without direct supervision.
- Deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company.
- Have a proactive and positive approach to work.
