We currently have an exceptional opportunity to join us asEngineering Operations Leader. The successful person will have significant experience supervising multi-disciplinary operations, strategically identifying technology development programmes and will be accountable to the Operations Group Leader for delivery of the order book.

Closing Date: 03rd June 2024 The role holder will be responsible and accountable for; The delivery of the Target Fabrication orderbook to time, cost and quality.The maintaining safe operations across the Target Fabrication capability.Leading change in new technologies of interest to the customer i.e. working with strategic materials.The interaction with the supplying resource functions to ensure overall shape and size are adequate for future demand.The oversight of direct spend and labour costs from the delivery unit.Ensuring that robust plans are delivered to meet milestone targets.Overseeing and leading new and existing capabilities in accordance with programme demand.The role holder will have some of the following skills and attributes; Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.Extensive experience working and supervising work in operational environments.Excellent communications skills - able to inspire, motivate and engage widely across the business.Ability to develop solutions to complex problems that requires regular use of ingenuity and creativity.Resolution focused with the ability to be flexible and creative in approach and able to work across functions to reach the conclusions, decisions and ways forward collaboratively.Project Management experience delivering a wide range of projects.Experience of Leading and building multi-disciplinary teams to achieve complex outcomes.Ability to influence and manage stakeholders.
