Engineering Manager Gilberdyke, East Yorkshire
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading and managing multiple engineering projects. and preventative maintenance across the site, ensuring successful delivery in alignment with objectives. We are looking for a person with strong problem-solving skills, enabling good business judgement and decision making. With an ability to manage functional teams and work as part of the site Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new SOPs for an incoming new production line and future projects.
Review current procedures maintenance schedules.
Monitor and manage reliability, downtime, and breakdowns.
Manage, coach, and develop a team of 9.
Liaise and interact with departments throughout production to work towards common goals.
Delivering and exceeding KPI performance measures.
Delivering projects safely, on time, to budget and specification.
Required Skills & Education:
Degree level or equivalent, with relevant experience.
Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or relevant experience.
NEBOSH Certificate.
Working knowledge and application of PUWER regulations.
Experience of plastics extrusion processes.
