Jackson Hogg are delighted to share details of this new Engineering Manager�opportunity. Role based in the Billingham area, commutable from Teesside, Stockton, County Durham, Darlington and surrounding areas. The organisation operate in over 100 countries and�are a leading producer.�
The Engineering Manager position would suit�someone with a COMAH, Chemical / Petro-Chem background and knowledge of Process Engineering. The position reports to Head of Operations and plays a key role in ensuring plant availability and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Personnel management - lead, performance manage, motivate, train, recruit and develop team
- Provide M/I/E technical direction
- Complete technical investigations and problem solve to�improve asset availability and reliability.
- Control the spend within the engineering budget�
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement
- Own�the Reliability workstream
- Responsible for the statutory compliance of the asset including pressure systems and safety instrumented systems.�
- Responsible for the Asset Management life plan and maintenance strategy
Background / Skills / Qualifications
- Degree in relevant engineering subject (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument)
- Chartered Engineer, working towards or significant industry exp
- 5-10 years senior engineering experience on a manufacturing or engineering asset�
- Chems / COMAH / Process Engineering knowledge all highly desirable�
- Previous direct line management exp essential�
