Engineering Manager

Summary:OXBO Recruitment are pleased to be partnered with an international owner operator and investor of renewable energy projects in their quest to hire a Wind Engineering Manager for their London offices. Leading onshore wind engineering initiatives, the Wind Engineering Manager will support project teams and corporate assurance on onshore wind engineering and technology issues.
Responsibilities:As Wind Engineering Manager, you'll lead onshore wind engineering and technology efforts across project stages and M&A opportunities. Develop and maintain onshore wind engineering processes, standards, and team leadership. Provide technical support to project teams on pre-construction and construction phases. Assist in wind turbine selection, procurement, and project delivery standards. Support asset management in reviewing wind turbine performance and resolving operational issues. Develop strategies for assessing asset life and managing wind asset integrity. Lead technical due diligence for operational projects and acquisitions, managing advisers and contributing to risk assessments and value addition. Develop financial assumptions and attend site visits and tests as required.
Candidate requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering subject. Demonstrated expertise in onshore wind turbines from involvement in renewable power projects as an asset owner, technical adviser, turbine OEM, or service contractor. Experience in team management preferred. In-depth knowledge of onshore wind turbine systems and suppliers. Familiarity with certification, suitability, and fatigue modeling. Proficiency in negotiating turbine supply and service agreements. Experience with SCADA monitoring and third-party analytics tools for reliability and performance analysis.
