Title: Engineering ManagerCompany: Manufacturing / Production / Industrial Location: City of London, Central London (South London, Peckham, Brixton)Shifts: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pmSalary: Circa £55,000 - £70,000 (Negotiable) Benefits inc: Further Development + Company Bonus Scheme + Private Medical The Company:Due to growth, this prestigious family run manufacturing company is now seeking an Engineering Maintenance Manager. This is a brand new flexible position that has opened for an experienced multiskilled engineer capable of commissioning, running all technical aspects of a site and building a team from the ground up. Over the next few months alone, they are planning to input millions of pounds worth of investment into manufacturing equipment on site in order to automate the bulk of the production process. They will also be expanding their products and introducing new production lines to improve efficiency and the overall profitability of the company. The Role:You will be working alongside the production manager taking responsibility for the technical installations and maintenance on the site. This will include a lot of project work and site developments including commissioning a full new production line independently. You will be responsible for all equipment and machinery, all compliance and health and safety, as well as liaising with third parties / negotiating for new parts and tools with suppliers. You will also be in charge of all training training for operators and over the next few years recruiting and building your own skills engineering team.Requirements:Previous experience in industrial manufacturing environments, (injection moulding, CNC machinery or plastic manufacturing would be an advantage)Able to provide evidence of showing initiative, handling commissioning / preventative maintenance / continuous improvement projects on site and taking charge of large scale projects. Ability to support, train and manage a variety of different personalities and skillsets levels on manufacturing equipment / processes.Evidence of both industrial site and people management skills.You must hold at least a HNC / HND in mechanical / electrical engineering.Test & Inspection / 18th Edition / IOSH / Management Training (preferred)Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
