Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee our engineering operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, driving efficiency improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives.
Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations.

- Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize production processes.

- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in proper working condition and meeting safety standards.

- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of engineering projects and meet production goals.

- Evaluate engineering processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

- Develop and manage the engineering budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:

- HNC/HND/Apprenticeship or time served in Engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and equipment maintenance.

- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and quality standards.

- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
