Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager, York, up to £60,000, pension, 25 days holiday + BH.  Days Mon – Fri.

Arlington Moore Recruitment is working in partnership with a highly respected manufacturing business who continues to grow, and they are now looking for an Engineering Manager for their busy site in York.  We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager who has demonstratable experience in managing and coaching engineering teams as well as leading process improvement projects and managing capital investment.

Reporting to the Site General Manager the Engineering Manager will be responsible for the following.

• Management of a team of experienced Engineers as well as mentoring and upskilling


• Development of engineering training programmes


• Leading continuous improvement activities and capital projects


• Developing and implementing PPM systems


• Management of engineering budgets


• Mentoring site managers on engineering issues


• Managing facilities procedures

Successful Engineering Manager candidates should have the following.

• Experience of managing and mentoring engineering teams and cross site training


• Qualified in a related engineering discipline


• Fast moving factory-based experience


• Experience of managing improvement and capex projects


• Experience of CI tools
