We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular roleSalary: CompetitiveWhat you'll be doing:To develop and maintain safety commissioning management arrangements to deliver the Naval Reactor PlantTo deliver a Safety Commissioning Schedule to enable safe delivery of the Naval Reactor PlantAssessing plant safety commissioning maturity for entry into subsequent build phasesFacilitating the Reactor Plant build and commissioning delivery programme through innovative engineering solutions and problem solvingTo lead or support the resolution of safety commissioning challengesAdvise and conduct Intelligent Customer duties regarding documentation, advice and services provided to the business relating to safety commissioning of the plantProduce the Safety Commissioning compliance and assurance reports to support the safety caseSupport the development of the team through mentorship and guidanceWriting and presenting reports to communicate nuclear safety matters to a variety of internal and external stakeholdersYour skills and experiences:Essential:Degree Qualified Engineering/Physical Science discipline; Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, PhysicsKnowledge of the nuclear industry and Nuclear RegulationsPrevious exposure to Engineering LifecycleProven experience of demonstrating safety commissioning compliance a Nuclear plantDesirable:Proven technical report writing skillsPresentation skillsBenefits:You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The team covers activities ranging from design safety assurance, engineering/technical problem solving to practical innovation and improvement projects across the Engineering Lifecycle with a strong focus on the Build and Commission of the reactor plant.
