Manager, a self starter and seeking a bigger and wider challenge across different teams/deliveries, this is the role for you!Our integration domain covers all aspects of integration across many differing systems within Aviva. Using complex API focused platforms on AWS EKS cloud technology, using APIs written in SpringBoot/Spring Web, where our services are also exposed to external partners. This core technology framework is augmented with the team covering technologies in the Developer Exp space and Generative AI, in addition to covering many business domains from General Insurance and Pensions/Payroll.A bit about the job:As the Engineering Delivery Manager, you will leverage strong technical/logical and project delivery experience to oversee the planning, implementation, and delivery of many complex technical initiatives. Ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines, along with demonstrating leadership skills (across hybrid teams) in organising delivery, meetings and able to adapt to different tasks quickly, proving good attention to detail and problem solving.You will also be expected to provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and always ensure we work towards our Aviva goals of efficiency, growth, customer, sustainability and risk management.Skills and experience we're looking for:Engineering/Technology management experienceExcellent stakeholder management - with the ability to build a positive relationship across all levels of engagementComfortable working on different projects simultaneously, along with resource allocation, budgeting and management.
