Engineer: Highways & Traffic

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Highways and Traffic Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, analysis, and management of transportation infrastructure projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from highways and roadways to traffic management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roadways, intersections, and traffic management systems.
• Conduct traffic impact assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Analyse traffic flow and develop strategies to optimise traffic management.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and traffic analysis tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
