Engine Test Technician

An amazing opportunity to join a global player in Internal Combustion Engines as an Engine Test Technician!

Our client are experts in innovation are are looking for a ambitious team player who focuses on high performance, quality and making a difference.

Straight days or shift work available.

The role:

• Testing engines to validate basic running and it's fluid and boost systems.
• Contribute towards engine/test piece installation and setup of instrumentation and support systems.
• Partake in complex calibration tasks with support from engineers.
• Identify and diagnose unit faults, both mechanical and electrical, working with Engineering team to deliver effective solutions
• Using initiative to reduce waste and optimise efficiency.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Automotive or Testing background.
• Formal qualification in automotive or testing would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in fault diagnostics/fault finding.
• Basic fabrication skills .
• Good understanding of engine basics.
